Kuwait city: The Karnataka Muslim Welfare Association (KMWA) – Kuwait successfully hosted its flagship annual event, Eid Get-Together 2025 on Friday, April 11th, at Rajdhani Palace Restaurant, Khaitan. The gathering witnessed a vibrant turnout of community members and leaders, fostering a spirit of unity, communal harmony, spiritual reflection, and cultural exchange. The event was honoured by the gracious presence of distinguished dignitaries and Prominent Leaders like the Presidents, General Secretaries and other Office Bearers from various Karnataka-based Associations in Kuwait, representing GSB Sabha Kuwait, Mogaveera Association Kuwait, Tulu Koota Kuwait, KCWA, Billava Sangha, Bantara Sangha Kuwait and Kuwait Kannada Koota etc.
These dignitaries commended KMWA’s ongoing efforts to promote inter-community harmony and highlighted Eid as a festival symbolizing peace, compassion, and coexistence. The keynote address was delivered by Br. B.S. Sharafuddin, a renowned speaker, who eloquently spoke on the essence of Eid and the importance of communal unity. His thought-provoking message resonated deeply with the audience.The event featured a spiritually uplifting Qur’an recitation and translation by Br. Atheeq Bayazeed, who also conducted an engaging and informative quiz, energizing the gathering with interactive participation. A standout feature of the evening was the Islamic Model Making Competition for children, which showcased young talents and creativity, while deepening awareness of Islamic history. This initiative, meticulously coordinated by the KMWA Ladies Wing, received heartfelt appreciation for its success and impact.
The smooth and dynamic execution of the event reflected the hard work and dedication of the KMWA Core Team and volunteers who contributed selflessly to the success of the event. In his concluding address, KMWA President Mr. Jameel Ahmed extended a warm vote of thanks to all dignitaries, participants, and the larger community. He emphasized, “Eid is a celebration of togetherness, and unity in diversity remains our greatest strength.”The evening concluded with a delightful community dinner, heartfelt conversations, and strengthened bonds of brotherhood—perfectly capturing the spirit of Eid.
